Sharif Zaben is an NYC based drummer from Chicago known largely for his work in the Johnny O’Neal trio. Performing regularly at SMOKE, Smalls, Zinc bar, Cellar Dog and the Django, Sharif concurrently performs with his own group Sharif Zaben One Pulse on drums and piano with successful performances at Smalls Jazz club and Ornithology in NYC, and the Jazz Showcase in Chicago.
